Zuhair bowls MBQ Associates to victory
KARACHI: Leg-spinner Zuhair Zaidi bowled Mohammad Bin Qasim Associates to a crushing 94-run victory over Siemens Engineering in their Group B fixtures of the 6th United Bank Limited (UBL) Gold Cup Twenty20 Cricket Tournament 2011 here at the UBL Sports Complex on Wednesday.
Zuhair, adjudged Man of the Match, claimed four wickets for only 10 runs as Siemens collapsed to 78 all out in 15 overs.
Earlier brothers Mohammad Bin Qasim (45) and Rameez Qasim (37) had played the lead role in guiding MBQ Associates to a competitive total of 172 for eight in 20 overs.
