KARACHI: Karachi Dolphins fast bowler Sohail Khan has been fined Rs5000 for not wearing a kit, while giving an interview in the final presentation ceremony of Faysal Bank Super-Eight T20 tournament at the Iqbal Stdium in Faisalabad on Friday night.
Khan, who took five wickets in the final was charged over the violation of logo policy. Earlier in the tournament, Ahmed Shehzad was just reprimanded for giving an interview without wearing his Lahore Lions’ kit, while Shoaib Malik was not even warned, as he was seen attending the semifinal ceremony in a branded top.
Meanwhile, Sarfraz Ahmed was not named joint best wicket-keeper despite having same number of dismissals (7) alongside Jamal Anwar and Kamran Akmal.
