Arif bowls Nasaki XI to victory
KARACHI: Left-arm spinner Arif Mehmood bowled Nasaki XI to a six-wicket win over Khyber Green (FATA) in their Nasaki MA Shah Night Trophy at the Asghar Ali Shah stadium here on Thursday night.
Batting first, Khyber Green were all out for 90 in 19.4 overs as Arif Mehmood took three wickets. In reply, Nasaki XI reached the target with six wickets in hand and more than seven overs to spare. Ahmed Hussain struck five fours in 42-run knock.
In another match at the RLCA ground (Korangi), Go Aish thrahsed Media Balochistan CC by nine wickets.
Set a target of 123, Go Aish made 126 for one in just 10.2 overs through Shazeb Hasan who made a 27-ball 68. Khalid Latif hammered 31 with the help of four sixes. Earlier, Media CC were all out for 122 with Khurram Manzoor picking up four wickets.
