Battle for UBL Gold Cup starts today
KARACHI: A total of 10 teams, divided equally in two groups, will be featuring in the sixth edition of the United Bank Limited (UBL) Gold Cup Twenty20 Cricket Tournament 2011 which will be getting underway here at the UBL Sports Complex on the first day of Ramazan. Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB), Bank Islami, Jaffer Brothers, UBL and Ex-ABN/RBS constituted the Group A while Novartis Pharma, Nissan Motors, Siemens, Mohammad Bin Qasim Associates and Gold Bridge Media have been drawn in the Group B. The top two teams from both the groups, at the end of the league matches, will be advancing to the semifinals. DIB and Ex-ABN/RBS will clash in the opening match of the tournament.
