England win toss, bat against Sri Lanka
MANCMANCHESTER: England captain Alastair Cook won the toss and elected to bat against Sri Lanka in the fifth and final one-day international (ODI) at Old Trafford here on Saturday.
With the series all square at 2-2, both sides made changes to the teams that played in England's 10-wicket win at Trent Bridge on Wednesday.
England dropped out-of-form seamer Stuart Broad and brought in a second spinner in Samit Patel on a pitch expected to take turn.
Sri Lanka omitted batsman Thilina Kandamby and gave Dimuth Karunaratne his ODI debut.
