KARACHI: Pakistan fast-bowler Junaid Khan on Sunday said that he is eager to join his teammates at Lancashire but he has not received his visa yet, which has forced him to stay back in Pakistan.
“I am raring to perform there but I haven’t receive my visa yet which is really irritating, as I have missed six to seven matches because of this issue,” he told ‘The News’ on Sunday.
“I am hoping to get my visa in two three days and as soon as I get that I’ll fly to England.”
Khan was impressive in British conditions when he rattled Ireland in the first One-day International in Belfast by claiming four wickets in just five overs. The 21-year-old said that he likes bowling in English conditions and would try to win matches for Lancashire.
“I like bowling in condition where the ball seams and swing. This would be the case in England and I hope to make the most of it,” he added.
